Since 1973, GHFC has been committed to changing the lives of children. Every day GHFC provides youth with a safe place where caring, specially trained counselors help facilitate the healing process. Providing counseling and specialized treatment for teens who have been abused or neglected, GHFC offers care planning, crisis management services, counseling, continued education, tutoring services, follow-up services after discharge, access to community resources and life skills development. GHFC believes a community is only as strong as its families, and our community’s future is only as bright as the hope of our children. Our goal is to alleviate suffering, strengthen families, and prepare children to become productive members of society. GHFC provides a nurturing environment where children can work through the past pain and move on to a successful future. Group Homes for Children is a private, non-profit agency dedicated to serving families and children in crisis. |
