About UsOur MissionMission StatementGroup Homes for Children is a private, non-profit agency whose mission is to serve the community by serving families and children in crisis. Our purpose is to offer shelter, home-based and residential, in addition to other support services to young people who are in need because of abuse, neglect, family crisis, or abandonment. Our desire is to alleviate suffering, strengthen families, and prepare children to become productive and successful members of society. Our VisionGroup Homes for Children's vision is to become Central Alabama's provider and employer of choice for family and children's services, recognized for meeting national standards of quality and care.
