Introduction

GHFC believes a community is only as strong as its families, and our community’s future is only as bright as the hope of our children. At GHFC we offer:

  • Residential treatment for adolescents ages 12 to 18 who struggle with emotional or behavioral problems and whose needs cannot be met in other treatment settings.
  • Transitional living facility which provides long-term residential care to homeless young women ages 16 through 21 who require skills necessary to live independently.
  • Short-term emergency care for runaway youth in the Montgomery Area Runaway Youth Shelter (M.A.R.Y.S) facility where youth are provided with emergency shelter, food, clothing, counseling, and health care referrals.
  • Independent Living for youth ages 17 to 21 who live in community based housing while learning the skills necessary to be self sufficient.
